PROCHARGER CUSTOMERS HAVE SUPERCHARGED FUN

Earlier this spring, Ricky Ellison participated in the King of the Streets Series race at Carolina Dragway in Aiken, South Carolina.  This was his first 6.0 heads up index race (eighth mile) and he narrowly missed making the finals by only .001 seconds.  Ricky’s 2008 Dodge Challenger is powered by a 392 Hemi which is fed from an F-1R and air to water intercooler.  His combination is good for 1100 RWHP and an 8.6 second quarter mile.

Strictly Performance won the TX2K13 Nationals in Sealy, Texas earlier this spring. The car is a full weight 2011 Mustang GT, also utilizing the venerable F-1R ProCharger supercharger. Their best time of the event was 9.10 seconds, while shutting down at the 1000 foot mark. Strictly Performance said “With this ProCharger, we were so far ahead of the cars with Paxton superchargers, twin turbo systems or any other power adder, there was no reason to run it out the back door!”

In another recent supercharged achievement, Sean Ashe ran a blistering 7.03 seconds @ 197 MPH on May 5th at Maryland International Raceway.  Sean races an F-1X powered, 405 cubic inch small block Ford, in a 3200 pound 1985 Mustang.  He competes against fierce competition in the NMRA Street Outlaw class on 275 drag radials. His crew chief and tuner is Jason Gatlin of ATF Speed.  Jason has a track record of success, including tuning Jim Blair’s Super Street Outlaw car which won multiple NMRA championships in the past – also powered by ProCharger.
