ProCharger is thrilled to announce new power level offerings for our 2015-2026 Ford Mustang model years, including a system name change and the addition of all-new Stage 2 and Stage 3 systems now available.
We’ve refined our system naming structure to better represent the progression in power and performance across our lineup:
- Stage 1 (formerly High Output)
- Introducing the all-new Stage 2
- Introducing the all-new Stage 3
This updated structure streamlines the lineup, making it easier to choose the right setup based on your performance goals. From entry-level boost to fully built applications, ProCharger has a supercharger setup just for you.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN EACH TIER?
ProCharger’s range of Mustang supercharger systems is designed to meet a variety of performance needs.
Note on Power Gains and Boost Levels: For all 3 tiers, the power gains and boost levels will vary by vehicle generation. Generally, the higher the Stage tier, the higher the power gain and boost potential.
Stage 1
- Shared Drive (6-rib)
- Highly effective air-to-air intercooler
- P-1SC-1 or P-1X supercharger (varies by model year)
- Tuner Kit* available (for vehicles with additional powertrain and exhaust modifications that would require custom tuning by the vehicle owner)
Stage 2
Same as Stage 1, except:
- Higher power gains and boost levels
- Upgraded air-to-air intercooler
- P-1X supercharger for all models
- (S650 only) Amended tubing configuration
Stage 3
Same as Stage 2, except:
- Dedicated Drive (8-rib)
* Tuner Kits include the same core supercharger hardware but exclude tuning and fuel system upgrades, making them ideal for custom builds with additional modifications such as camshafts, headers, or upgraded exhaust systems.
Each system is designed with scalability in mind, offering different boost levels, intercooler ratings, and drive options. Complete systems include ProCharger-specific PCM calibration and upgraded fuel components to ensure smooth, reliable power delivery. Customization options—such as finish choices and blow-off valves—allow you to fine-tune the look and performance of your setup. And there are ProCharger options for the GT Performance Pack and Darkhorse.
Unique Stage 1 Benefits
There are two additional features that are exclusive to the Stage 1. First, 2024-2026 Mustang owners can opt for the 3yr/36K powertrain warranty, as the Stage 1 is eligible. Second, the 2015-2023 model year Mustangs have a 50-state legal option available with the Stage 1.
INTRODUCING STAGE 2 AND STAGE 3 SYSTEMS
The all-new Stage 2 and Stage 3 systems are engineered to deliver the next level of performance for 2015–2026 Mustang platforms, combining advanced airflow design with ProCharger’s signature bolt-on simplicity. On S650 applications, the larger intercooler required alternate charge piping relative to the Stage 1. True to ProCharger’s philosophy, all 3 tiers remain a simple, DIY-friendly solution that installs cleanly while maintaining OEM-level drivability.
The Stage 2 and Stage 3 systems all feature the P-1X supercharger as standard, delivering increased horsepower potential and stronger performance across the entire power band. Utilizing a shared drive configuration, it strikes an ideal balance between performance, simplicity, and long-term reliability for both street and strip use. Thanks to the Coyote’s 10-speed transmission, the system delivers maximum, efficient power throughout the drive cycle. The Stage 2 retains the factory 6-rib balancer, a proven, high-performance setup capable of supporting serious power while maintaining a user-friendly installation. The Stage 3’s dedicated 8-rib belt drive is available for those looking to reach for even higher power goals.
MACHINED FINISH OPTION NOW AVAILABLE
For enthusiasts who want to take both performance and engine bay appearance to the next level, ProCharger now provides an upgraded machined finish option for select superchargers and brackets. This finish showcases a bright, precision-cut aluminum surface that emphasizes the detail and quality built into every component. Ideal for clean show builds or anyone looking to complement their existing setup with a more refined aesthetic, the machined finish delivers a purposeful blend of durability, performance, and standout visual appeal.
UPDATED INTERCOOLER DESIGN FOR 2024-2026 S650
The all-new Stage 2 and Stage 3 Systems for the 2024-2026 Mustangs introduce our updated 1500+ HP intercooler design. This larger air-to-air intercooler features a larger core engineered for both high performance and exceptional effectiveness. It delivers impressive airflow and cooling capability—two attributes that don’t often come together at this level—making it equally beneficial for street-driven setups and for more demanding racing applications.
