We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with the following experience and qualifications:


Primary responsibilities include developing, evaluating, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes. This position is also responsible for analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput. Additionally, this individual:

  • Works closely with manufacturing and quality departments to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
  • Assists with the development of quality assurance systems for new and existing products.
  • Provides engineering support in production department to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Meets schedule and qualifies requirements.
  • Improves in house documentation of manufacturing prints.
  • Assists with cost reduction initiatives related to production

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 4-year technical degree
  • 7-10 years experience in manufacturing/operations atmosphere
  • Experience with the following:
    • Machine shop layout, equipment, maintenance
    • Gears
    • General and precision assembly
    • Welding and fabrication
  • Efficient with Solidworks 3D modeling software or equivalent
  • Efficient with CAM software
  • Technical writing skills
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office software package
  • Highly resourceful, organized and innovative
  • Dedicated to keeping projects moving forward and adhering to project schedules, through project completion
  • Able to clearly communicate ideas and concepts
  • Successful working within interdisciplinary team(s)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing process experience
  • Efficient with GD&T practices (ASME Y14.5)
  • Involved with/responsible for bringing a company up to ISO certification
  • Rotating equipment experience
