As the Corvette C8 continues to push GM performance into a new era, the C7 platform is proving it still has plenty left to say. More than a decade after its debut, the C7 Corvette remains one of the most capable and popular platforms for serious street and strip performance, and enthusiasts are continuing to push it harder than ever with ProCharger power.
When the C7 Corvette first arrived in 2013, its LT1 engine quickly proved to be an ideal match for ProCharger centrifugal supercharger systems. Fast forward to today, and ProCharged C7 Corvettes are still making boost, setting records, and finding their way into the winner’s circle. Two recent builds that stand out are Sean Madden of NXTShift and Michael Recchia of Recchia Racing. Both have shown just how potent the ProCharger C7 combination can be! Let’s take a closer look at their recent performances and the ProCharged power helping drive their success.
WORLDS FASTEST STICK SHIFT CORVETTE
Sean Madden and the NXT Shift team made a major statement at TX2K 2026, setting the world record for the fastest stick-shift Corvette with their ProCharged 2016 C7 Corvette, better known as “Jango.”
Behind the wheel, Madden drove the car to a blistering 6.555-second pass at 214.96 mph, proving just how serious the ProCharger C7 combination has become at the highest levels of stick-shift racing.
At the center of the build is a JA Competition-built engine. Feeding that combination is our ProCharger crank-driven F-Series supercharger, delivering the massive airflow, efficiency, and top-end power needed to push a manual-transmission C7 deep into record-setting territory!

WORLDS FIRST 8-SEC 7-SPEED CORVETTE
The record-setting ProCharged C7 action did not stop there.
Michael Recchia of Recchia Racing also drove his ProCharged C7 Corvette into the record books last month, becoming the world’s first 8-second 7-speed Chevrolet Corvette. With ProCharger power on board, Michael and the team laid down an incredible 8.943-second pass at 157.28 mph, cementing their place in C7 Corvette performance history.
Powering the milestone is a ProCharger D-1X supercharger system, delivering the efficient airflow, strong charge-air performance, and top-end power needed to push this manual C7 into uncharted territory.
