GOES 3.436 @ 214.76 MPH AT LIGHTS OUT 17
As many know, Lights Out brings together some of the fastest radial racers on the planet, all battling it out for a spot in the winner’s circle and a big payday. Last week at Duck X Productions Lights Out 17 at South Georgia Motorsports Park, Ken Quartuccio delivered a standout performance, resetting the Radial vs. World (RVW) world record, previously held by Paolo Giust.
Behind the wheel of his ProCharged ProLine Racing HEMI-powered Camaro, Quartuccio blasted to an incredible 3.436 @ 214.76 MPH in the 1/8-mile, powered by ProCharger’s crank-driven F-4X-146 supercharger!
Ken and his team arrived early in the week for extensive testing, dialing in their setup to maximize performance and consistency. After some fine-tuning from Steve Petty on the computer, the team entered eliminations fully prepared for battle. Going round after round, the ProCharged Camaro delivered flawless, repeatable performance, ultimately carrying the team into the finals against Lyle Barnett.
When it mattered most, the ProCharger-powered combination delivered once again! Quartuccio left hard, posting an impressive .891 60-foot, 2.29 330-foot, and through the beams at a record-setting 3.436 seconds in the 1/8-mile, securing both the finals victory and a new RVW world record.
