UNDERSTANDING SUPERCHARGER SPECS
- Max Airflow (CFM):
How much air the unit can move → directly impacts horsepower potential - Max Impeller Speed:
Higher speed = more boost capability - Volute Diameter:
The volute is essentially the compressor housing; the bigger the volute diameter, the more space in the engine bay it takes up - Inducer Diameter:
The diameter of the compressor wheel when the air enters the compressor housing - Exducer Diameter:
The diameter of the compressor wheel when the air is exiting the compressor housing - Internal Step-up Ratio:
The gears inside the supercharger gearbox that spin the compressor rotating assembly, a multiplier from crankshaft rotational speed

Street / Daily Driver
You can’t beat the tall and broad power range of the P-1SC-1, P-1X, and D-1SC. Each with their own performance behaviors to suit specific use cases, these superchargers all offer smooth drivability and reliable power gains
Recommended: P-1SC-1, P-1X, D-1SC
Occasional Racer
If you are going to dabble in drag racing on the weekends, then you’ll want to opt for the balanced performance and upgrade flexibility of the D-1X and F-1 series superchargers.
Recommended: F-1, F-1A, F-1D, F-1A-91, F-1A-94
Drag Racing
For dedicated drag race cars, we have many options to suit the variety of racing classes and rules. What they all have in common is their ability to supply maximum, consistent, and reliable power to go rounds and land in the Winner’s Circle.
Recommended: F-3 series, F-4 Series
Truck / Towing / Off-Road
For applications where low-end torque matters more than top-end horsepower, we have several options that have a torque curve that peaks earlier than other units. Specifically, the D-1SC, offers the same consistent, linear power with engine RPM, but has slightly more low-end torque for optimum towing and off-roading.
