Once again, the ProCharger V-Twin team loads up the 53-ft Big Rig and heads to Sturgis, SD for arguably one of the greatest motorcycle events in the world: the 69th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
For the second year in a row, the ProCharger V-Twin display will be located in Champions Park, between 2nd and 3rd Streets on the north side of Lazelle Street. ProCharger will be just around the corner from the Ace Cafe and one of the first displays inside Champions Park.
If you’re serious about adding some real-world power and reliability to your Harley V-Twin, be sure to stop by the ProCharger display to discuss the supercharger systems and tuner kits available for your particular ride. While you’re there, you can see an awesome assortment of ProCharger equipped bikes, both in and outside of the ProCharger display.
Project Bagger: this 2007 FLHX features a Jim’s 120-cu.in. V-twin and ProCharger Intercooled Supercharger System. With 12-psi of intercooled boost from the B-1 ProCharger, this big blue FBI custom bagger puts down 200+ RWHP and still manages 37 mpg out on the road.
Other bikes that will be featured in the ProCharger display include Leroy Thompson’s “Trendkill”. This 180+ HP custom creation features a ProCharged and intercooled 124 cu.in. S&S engine. Also on display, a fully blacked-out 2004 FLHT that features a black powder-coated ProCharger system feeding the carburetor-equipped engine. Showcasing ProCharger systems for carb-equipped V-twins, this bike now puts out 153 RWHP.
ProCharger Sturgis Debuts
Making its V-twin event debut is a 2008 H-D Softail Rocker C. As documented in the latest edition of Hot Bike magazine, the intercooled ProCharger system added 53 RWHP to the stock engine in a little over four hours of installation time! Check out the installation article here.
Also making its public debut at Sturgis is ProCharger’s first powersports supercharger system. Fitted to a 2009 Polaris RZRS and built around the all-new ProCharger A-1 self-contained supercharger, the supercharged and intercooled “Razor-S” now cranks out 84 RWHP, easily doubling the factory output!
ProCharger V-twin power isn’t limited to the ProCharger display. Be sure to check out a Klock Werks custom Road King at Black Hills Harley-Davidson and the ProCharged “Gold Road King” located in the Interstate Battery display at the J&P Cycles display lot. Fat Baggers Inc., (FBI) will also have several ProCharged FBI customs on display and for sale at their location during the Sturgis event.
AMD World Championships
Several ProCharger-equipped bikes are scheduled to be entered in the judging, including a Leroy Thomspon custom in the Freestyle class and a 2007 H-D Softail in the Modified Harley-Davidson class. Be sure to check out these awesome customs in the AMD Championship Hall.
During the course of the event, the AMD World Championship Hall plays host to a wide variety of high-profile events, culminating with the AMD World Championship Bike Building Competition. For a complete schedule of events, visit the AMD Championship web site.
Law enforcement is a tough job, especially if you’re a regular patrol officer on just two wheels. Motorcycle-mounted officers are faced with doing their jobs in heavy, fast-moving urban traffic. The city of Independence, Missouri has taken the next step in making sure at least one of their motorcycle officers has the power he needs to survive in regular traffic duty: a ProCharged 2009 Harley-Davidson “Police Special” Road King.
But make no mistake about this supercharged and intercooled police bike: it is not just a show bike. Officer Larry Petree, a 10-year veteran of the Independence Police Department, rides the ProCharged H-D every day he can in his regular patrol duties. “It’s a great bike,” says Petree. “And now, I have even more power for getting this big, heavy bike up-to-speed and into the flow of traffic without worry. The supercharger and intercooler don’t affect riding position, which is important during a long shift on the bike. And yeah, it’s a lot of fun to ride…just don’t tell my fellow motorcycle officers.”

Making its public debut, a ProCharger-equipped 2010 Camaro SS was definitely a big hit with the Fourth of July weekend crowd attending the ADRL event at Heartland Park Raceway in Topeka, Kansas. For many in attendance, this was their first chance to see one of the all-new Chevrolet Camaros up-close and personal. And walking up to the opened hood, many of the comments sounded like this: “Wow, this is the first Camaro I’ve seen and it’s already ProCharged!” or “Is that a factory option?” and of course, “Sweet! How much power does it have now?”
The answers to the commonly heard questions are: No, it’s not a factory option - it just looks that way, and 500 RWHP! That’s a 45% improvement over the stock L99 V-8 in the automatic-equipped Silver Ice Metallic Camaro SS on display.
If the debut of the ProCharged 2010 Camaro wasn’t enough for ADRL fans, the ProCharger display was a veritable showcase of real-world horsepower. Over the course of the two-day event, the display also included: R&A Motorsports’ Dominator GT 2010 Mustang 3v; a 650+ RWHP 1968 Chevelle; a 122 RWHP ProCharged 2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Rocker C; and an incredible 1962 Chevrolet BelAir that produces more than 2,500 hp, thanks to it’s gear-driven F-3R-139 ProCharger supercharger. The big Chevy has run a best time of 7.52 @ 192 MPH at mile-high Bandimere Speedway outside of Denver, Colorado.
Additional ProCharged vehicles on display included an LS3 Corvette, 1989 and 2006 Mustangs, Cadillac Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Trailblazer SS and Silverado 1500. At one time, the ProCharger supercharged and intercooled parade of power surpassed the length of the tractor and trailer! On Saturday, the display was at full pony car strength with the addition of a ProCharged 2009 HEMI R/T Challenger to compliment the 2010 Mustang GT and Camaro SS. And yes, only ProCharger has air-to-air intercooled supercharger solutions available for all three of these pony cars right now!
Check out this future ProCharged Harley rider and be sure to pick up a copy of the August 2009 issue of Hot Bike magazine for the tech article detailing the installation of the ProCharger intercooled supercharger system onto this blue hot rod Harley.
The ProCharger V-Twin team displayed some awesome ProCharger supercharger equipped Harley-Davidson motorcycles at the recent All Harley Drag Racing Association’s Mid-West Nationals, June 20 and 21, held at Kansas City International Raceway.
The ProCharger display showcased some fantastic and powerful examples of ProCharged H-D motorcycles, including the 200+ horsepower “Project Bagger”; American Bagger magazine cover bike, the 88 cid, 120+ horsepower “Gold Member”; a hot-rodded and supercharged 2008 H-D Softail Rocker C that cranks out 122 RWHP out of an otherwise stock engine; and a “bad and black” 2004 carburetor-equipped H-D FLHT Street Glide that puts down 156 horsepower, thanks it its intercooled supercharger system.
Racers and spectators alike were very interested in that fact that if you already own a Harley, a complete intercooled ProCharger system can add 40 to 80+ horsepower to your ride in a single day, while still running pump gas and enjoying every day rideability.

The ProCharger V-Twin crew has been very busy attending some of the early season motorcycle events, including the Pomona Bike Show, V-Twin Expo and Daytona Bike Week, as well as bringing to market intercooled supercharger systems for 2009 Touring bikes. As a matter of fact, ProCharger had a complete supercharger system for the 2009 Touring bikes available several weeks before any other performance part, even exhaust systems!
At Daytona Bike Week, ProCharger exhibited with one of our dealers: Fat Baggers Inc (FBI), while ProCharger’s own “Project Bagger” served notice on the Dyno Drags with a 201 RWHP pull. This number was put down in a single pull and on standard, straight-out-of-the-pump gas and was the mark to beat all week!
A ProCharger-equipped and customized 2007 Softail® Nightrain also captured the “Best of Show” award at the Pomona (CA) Bike Show. Congratulations to the crew at All Industries Performance!

For the third year in a row, the ProCharger V-Twin Team displayed at the annual V-Twin Expo by Easyriders, February 7 – 9 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH. This dealer- and builder-only event draws attendees from all over the world and this year was no exception.
The ProCharger display had a great assortment of supercharged and intercooled Harley-Davidson V-twins, including the debut of several new systems: 2006 and later Dyna and 2007 and later Softail H-D motorcycles. The incredible 2007 Screamin’ Eagle Dyna on display featured a modified 110″ V-twin and produces an amazing 192 supercharged and intercooled rear-wheel horsepower. This bike was just completed and tuned prior to the event and the owner and dealer feel there is even more horsepower available.
Also on display for the first time was a beautiful blue 2008 Softail “Rocker”. This supercharged and intercooled mild custom hot rod cranks out an amazing 122 RWHP on 91 octane pump gas.
Not to be left out of the horsepower party, the bagger segment was very well represented by two real-world bikes; a 156 RWHP, carbureted 2004 FLHT Street Glide, complete with a black powdered-coated ProCharger supercharger and intercooler system, and of course, ProCharger’s own 2007 FLHX Street Glide “Project Bagger”. This big, bad and blue highway hauler features a full FBI “fat bagger” conversion, CD/DVD/Nav system and hazes the rear tire with 204 RWHP.
With these recent expansions to the ProCharger V-Twin product offerings, ProCharger now has an intercooled, self-conatined, bolt-on supercharger system for virtually every model of air-cooled H-D motorcycles from certain 1984 models up the the newest 2009 Touring bikes.

When the ProCharger V-Twin Crew got hold of this 2007 FLHX Street Glide we knew big things were to come. The bike now features a Fat Baggers Inc. (FBI) conversion, a Jim’s 120-cubic inch EFI engine, and a D&D Boarzilla 2-into-1 exhuast. This bagger also features our H.O. Intercooled ProCharger supercharger system for 2007 Touring bikes.
This bike put down a solid 200.98 RWHP and 167.28 ft-lbs of torque on pump gas (on a conservative dyno)! Cruising down the highway in comfort with a navigation system and 200 ProCharged horsepower at the tire; it doesn’t get much better than that.
Keep your eye open for this bike and the ProCharger rig at all of the big V-Twin events in 2009!
