Wild Street: The dynamic duo of Kevin and Jeff Young brought their F2 ProCharged powered machines to California. Kevin qualified number one with a 7.84 @ 177 mph. Meanwhile Jeff qualified in the number five hole with an 8.01 @ 175 mph. Kevin rolled thru the competition all the way to the finals when he took home the win!

Limited Street: Eric Aldrich brought his F1C ProCharged Maverick from Oceanside, Ca to do battle. Eric qualified number one with an 8.48 @ 165 mph. It was a banner day for the Aldrich team as they took home the win along with low et for the weekend!

Super Street Outlaw: ProCharger powered racers John Urist, Phil Hines, Johnny MacDonald, and John Wellekamp were in attendance to wage war on turbo and nitrous powered combinations. John Urist led the way with a 7.21 @ 198 mph to take the number one qualifying position. Hines and Johnny Mac took the fourth and fifth spots, while Wellekamp rounded out the top eight. Urist was the only ProCharger that made it out of the first round of eliminations. Urist's momentum carried him all the way to the finals, where he took home the win and increased his points lead.

X275 Drag Radial: Hometown favorites Jason Lee and Trace Meyer were in attendance. Lee took the number two qualifying spot with a 7.75 @ 187 mph. Trace Meyer ran an 8.30 to round out the top five in qualifying. Both managed to get past their first round opponents. Lee continued his march to his championship by going to yet another final round and taking home the win!

Real Street: Real Street mainstay Tim Matherly qualified strong with a 9.56 @ 145 mph, which was good enough for the third position. Tim had a good weekend of racing going all the way to the finals on Sunday by running consistent 9.40's and running top mph of the weekend. Not bad for a P1SC-2!

  NMCA @ Bowling Green, KY August 5-7





10.5W: Steve Summers was on hand to see if he could repeat his six second performance from the Joliet, IL race in June. Summers qualified fourth by running a 7.09 @ 200 mph in the scorching heat. Summers won his first round of eliminations and looked strong going into the second round. Unfortunately Steve spun right out the hole and lost, but still managed to run a traction limited 7.37.

Xtreme Street: Michael Keenan, Enzo Pechinni, and Dave Romer were all in attendance. Keenan qualified number two with an 8.00 @ 174 mph. In the number three spot was Pechinni with an 8.04 @ 173 mph, rounding the rest of the ProCharger contingent was Dave Romer with an 8.69 @ 157 mph. On Sunday all three ProCharger combatants bowed out early and we look forward to seeing them at the next stop at Milan, MI.

X275: Points leader Jason Lee brought his four-eyed monster of a fox bodied Mustang down from Ohio to do battle this weekend. Lee qualified number with a 7.72 @ 179 mph. Lee made it all the way to the finals and furthered his points lead by collecting the win.

Outlaw Drag Radial: ProCharger Outlaw Drag Radial stand out Steve Jackson made the long haul from the south to wage war against all comers. Steve qualified in the top three by running a 4.54 @ 176 mph. Running against the top outlaw drag radial cars in the country is no easy feat, but Jackson made it look easy on Sunday. Steve with his ProChagrer F3R-139 steam rolled thru eliminations and made it to the final round!

X275: With nearly fifty cars on the property to try their hand at qualifying for the 32 car field, just to qualify for this prestigious event was a race all in itself. Leading the charger for the ProCharger contingent was Rich Bruder and his fox-bodied F1R powered Mustang. Bruder qualified fourth with a 4.96 @ 143 mph. With a 32 car field, going thru five rounds of eliminations becomes a battle of attrition. Rich ran hard every round with low et for e very round but one and also ran low et for when it matter the most, THE FINALS! Bruder ran another stellar 4.99 blast to take the win!

Wild Street: Kevin and Jeff young were hard at it this weekend with Kevin leading the way for the dynamic duo by qualifying number two with a 7.74 @ 181 mph. Jeff landed in the number four spot with a traction limited 8.64 @ 150 mph. Kevin continued his march towards a second consecutive PSCA championship by making it to the finals!

Limited Street: Eric Aldrich put his Maverick on the pole position by running an incredible 8.36 @ 163 mph! Aldrich also continued his march for the Limited Street championship by going to the finals on Sunday and securing another win!
  NMRA World Finals @ Bowling Green, KY





Pro Outlaw 10.5W: Dwayne James and new ProCharger powered racer Jim Brown with his 2003 540 cubic inch big block F3R-135 powered Mustang were out in full force this weekend. James qualified third while Brown still learning his new combo qualified fourth. Unfortunately both racers day would end early on Sunday.

Super Street Outlaw: With the championship coming down to the wire, both John Urist and Phil Hines were set to do battle with their new ProCharger F3A-121's. Urist thru down the gauntlet first with a 7.02 blast at 203 mph which landed him in the number one qualifying spot. Not to be out done, Phil Hines also ran a personal best with a 7.13 @ 199 mph which solidly placed him third in qualifying. Phil's championship hopes ended early with a first round loss in eliminations. Urist on the other hand was running low et for every round and secures his seventh SSO championship by taking home the win!

X275: The pressure was on for Jason Lee to win his third consecutive NMRA championship. Lee qualified third with 7.70 @ 182 mph. In order for Lee to wrap up the 2011 championship, he would have to make it to the final round on Sunday. Always up for the challenge, Lee blasted his way to the finals and took home his third consecutive NMRA drag radial championship!

Real Street: Jim Breese and teammate Tim Matherly were in attendance at the world finals. Breese would qualify in the fourth position with a 9.44 @ 153 mph. Matherly was having clutch issues and was only able to qualify sixth. Breese mowed down the competition on his side of the ladder and made it to the final round!


  NMCA World Finals @ Indianapolis, IN Oct 6-9





10.5W: Steve Summers brought his Camaro down to the world finals and hopefully end his season on a good note. Steve qualified ninth with a 6.92 @ 205 mph. Summers won his first round match-up and was ready for round number two. Unfortunately Steve was not able to make his second round of competition. Expect some big things to come out of the Summers camp for the 2012 season!

X275 Drag Radial: Jason Lee having already wrapped the NMCA X275 championship still did not let up on the competition. Lee qualified number one with a 7.59 @ 183 mph. With the competition on its heels Jason delivered a knockout blow by winning the race and putting an explanation point his 2011 season!

Xtreme Street: Enzo Pecchinni made the long haul from Canada with hopes of ending his season with a victory. Enzo qualified in the fourth spot with an 8.00 @170 mph. Pecchini was sorting out a new engine at this race and his times kept improving. Enzo manage to run his best time of the weekend in the finals with a stout 7.96 @ 175 mph which was good enough for the win!

Xtreme Drag Radial: Chris Groves was back in action after taking some time off making some updates to his engine program. Groves's updates paid off as he ran well over 200 mph and won the event with his small block ford F3R-135 powered Mustang!

Wild Street: Kevin Young came into this weekend looking to lock up his second consecutive PSCA Wild Street championship. Young managed to reset the national record in qualifying with a 7.62 @ 188 mph. Kevin's weekend kept on rolling as he went to finals and won the event along with the championship!

Limited Street: Eric Aldrich and his red Maverick where looking to even the score in the points lead with a victory in Las Vegas. Eric started out right by taking the number one spot in qualifying by running an 8.40. On Sunday Eric was able to tie for first place in the PSCA points chase with a win!
