The FFW race at Norwalk Raceway Park is a productive one for Joe Robinson, who reaches the finals in Street Renegade class with his F-2 equipped Mustang GT. Joe runs an 8.07 in the opening round of eliminations, capturing the ET record in the process. Also in Street Renegade competition are 2003 Renegade Champion Chris Little, driving the UPR sponsored entry equipped with an F-2 ProCharger, and Dave King in his F-2M boosted 4.6 Cobra. After completing 7 of 10 races, ProCharged racers hold 6 of the top 11 spots in Street Renegade. In Street Outlaw, Stan Allen looks to have his ride nearly ready to return to competition, having run 4.70's in 1/8th mile testing. Look for this car to run 7.20's at upcoming Fun Ford events. In Drag Radial action, Tim Huspen qualifies #1 and finishes runner-up with his recently completed carbureted and ProCharged Mustang.

Though rain limited all NSCA competitors at Quaker city raceway to a single qualifying attempt, that was enough for "Mustang Mike" Modeste who ran a 8.15 ET @ 175 mph to take his ‘93 Cobra to the #1 position. Joining Mike in Limited Street was Donny Hastings who qualified #4 with an 8.35 with his F-2 equipped ‘86 Camaro. Also entered in competition were 2003 OSCA S/S champion Ray Sanchez with his Camaro, James Kursay with his wild ‘78 Malibu Station Wagon in Drag Radial and John King racing E/EFI eliminator with his "Junkyard Dog" ‘99 Blazer.

Making the most of another racing weekend, ProCharged racers dominate at the NMRA event in Joliet, Illinois. Donnie Walsh had another strong showing, qualifying Phillip Pickering's 2000 Mustang #1 in Pro 5.0 for the third consecutive event, running a 6.68 ET @ 206 mph. The Walsh-Pickering team is also able to grab their second straight victory, taking out Michael Hauf's Mountain motored entry. Jim Blair once again raises the bar in Super Street Outlaw, qualifying first, running a record crushing 7.50 @ 187 mph in his '95 Cobra-R, and marching through eliminations with consistent 7.50's and 7.60's to take the win. Other ProCharged racers making a good showing in Street Outlaw were 2003 Champion John Urist who ran a 7.65 ET @ 184 mph to qualify in the #2 position, Don Shobe who ran a 7.67 ET @ 183 mph to grab the #3 spot, along with Mauro Vitale and Steve Topletz who also qualifies in the top 10.

At Joliet, Phillip Clemmons also turns heads in qualifying, running an 8.354 ET @ 170 mph to take the #1 spot and reset the ET record. Maintaining this pace in eliminations, Phillip runs consistent 8.40's in his '88 GT, making his way to the winner's circle for the fifth time in six races this season! Along with Jim Blair in Super Street Outlaw, Phillip looks to be well on the way to his first NMRA class championship. In Real Street, Tim Matherly and Justin Burcham both make a strong showing, running in the nines through qualifying and eliminations. Both Burcham and Matherly advanced to the semi-finals, with Matherly taking his Mod-motored '01 Bullitt to the final round for the 5th time in 6 races this season, with 3 wins.

In further NMRA action at Joliet, Tim Huspen wins Wild Street by posting an average of 9.50 ET @ 150 mph, with a carbureted 5.0 powered by an Intercooled ProCharger F-2. Honorable mention also goes out to Zack Posey, who recently debuts and runs top mph (189 mph) in Super Street Outlaw with an Intercooled F-3R. Overall for this NMRA event, ProCharged racers post an amazing 4 wins and 1 runner-up. And for the season, in addition to Clemmons and Blair, Matherly and Walsh are also in position to win titles in 2004 NMRA competition, with leads in each of their respective championship points races.
