Technologies, Inc. has greatly expanded the number of products offered
in the ProCharger line over the past year. President Dan Jones and
manager Glen Roderique head the Engineering and Product Development
Team, which has released over 10 new systems in the last 12 months.
The most recent projects from the team to hit the street are the
systems for the LS1 Corvette and V6 Mustang, as well as the 2,300
horsepower F-4SC, a new supercharger used by top Ford and Chevy
racers.
The list of recently introduced
supercharger systems and race kits also includes:
Ford 5.4/4.6 truck and SUV's
Dodge truck
GM 5.3/6.0/4.8 trucks and SUV's
2001 Mustang GT and Cobra
Bullitt Mustang
LS1 Camaro/Firebird
HO Kits with P-1SC for 5.0's and LT1 F-bodies
F-1 and F-2 race kits
Mercruiser 496, 496 HO
Mercruiser 350 MPI
In addition to new supercharger
systems, the engineering team has also focused heavily on improving
core technology. This core technology ranges from self-contained
oiling and extremely rugged transmissions to ProCharger billet
impellers and air-to-air intercoolers. The team members definitely
consider themselves to be part of a technology company, and the
7 patent applications submitted by ATI in the past 2 years help
illustrate this commitment to innovation. Currently the team is
working on a system for the Honda/Acura platform.
ATI is now in the testing phase
and has a system installed on a Honda Civic with the 1.6L VTEC
engine. So far the numbers have been nothing short of spectacular,
with this new Intercooled ProCharger system producing a 75% increase
in horsepower with pump gas.
