ProCharger® equipped racers continue their drag racing dominance in 2006, despite significant rules handicaps. In classes where centrifugals are allowed, ProCharger equipped racers continue to set records and score class wins with the same intercooled, self-contained supercharger technology featured in ATI’s street systems. A typical example of ProCharger’s technical superiority is the recent inclusion of centrifugal superchargers in the NHRA. Racer Bo Butner III decided this year to be a centrifugal pioneer in a ProCharger equipped small block Chevy, and his intuition has paid off handsomely. Even though he has attended only about half of the series events to date, he has scored four wins and is in position to win the championship in Competition Eliminator. The fact that he has accomplished this in his first year with a new setup says volumes about Bo, his race team and his new ProCharger setup.
