The World’s Fastest Supercharged 5.0 Mustang, C5 Corvette, Modular Mustang and LS1 F-Body all have one thing in common: they are all powered by Intercooled ProChargers. These cars also have a few other common traits, including very high power production per cubic inch, extremely large gains in power, and the superior engine longevity associated with the industry’s coolest charge air and exhaust gas temperatures.

The fastest supercharged Mustang illustrates these advantages well. Running mid 6-second ET’s and producing over 2300 horsepower with only a 400 cid motor, this Ford small block generates nearly 6 hp/cid thanks to an Intercooled F-3M ProCharger®. The fastest supercharged LS1 Corvettes and F-Bodies, as well as Modular Mustangs, are utilizing smaller ProCharger models and lower boost levels, but are benefi ting from the same technological advantages.

A similar dominance can also be seen in street applications.
