When Monster Garage’s Jesse James came back
from Iraq after a recent USO tour, he contacted
ATI to help to turn an authentic WWII Army Jeep
into a dual-ProCharged, 2000+ horsepower tractor
puller. Enlisting a team of U.S. Army mechanics
along with ProCharger technicians, Monster Garage
modified the frame of this 1943 Willys Jeep MB to
make room for twin 502ci engines. After the fabrication
of the engine coupler, towing hitch and straight
rims and the installation of two ProCharger F-2
self-contained centrifugal superchargers, these
almost stock engines individually cranked out over
1000 HP each with only 15-16 pounds of boost.
Turning heads at a local tractor pull after completing
the build, this mean, green, supercharged monster machine
demands respect and pays tribute to the hardworking
men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
