Product Development Engineer

ProCharger designs and manufactures the industry-leading intercooled centrifugal supercharger systems for street, street/strip and racing applications for GM, Ford, Chrysler cars, trucks and SUVs, imports, as well as Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, UTVs and marine.

General experience and skill sets required:

• Mechanical system design experience
• Proficient with a parametric modeling software (preferably SolidWorks)
• Able to produce fully defined manufacturing drawings
• Hands on mechanical aptitude with an automotive focus
• Fabrication skills
• Technical writing
• Short learning curve and able to adapt to new projects and technologies quickly
• Experience with typical project management software
• The candidate must be action oriented and capable of managing their time and projects, regularly meeting projected deadlines

A strong focus in one or more of these areas is highly valued :

• Forced Induction
• Gear Box Design
• Control System Design
• Engine and Chassis Dynamometer Operation
• Engine Calibration
• Experience with a gas dynamics simulation software package (Ricardo Wave or similar)
• Welding and prototype construction
Desired minimum level of education and experience
• B.S.M.E. minimum
• 2+ years experience in product development, preferably automotive related.
