The new front facia design for
the 2005 C6 Corvette allows the use of a single,
center mounted air-to-air intercooler system. When
coupled with the high flowing, durable and extremely
efficient ProCharger, an air-to air intercooler
substantially improves overall performance and engine
reliability, producing 600+ 50-state legal horsepower.
For the C5 Corvette, ATI’s exclusive Twin
Highflow intercooler system accomodates the dual
grill ducts present on the C5 nose. This design
produces lower charge air temperatures on the C5.
However, with the center grill opening on the C6,
a single center-mounted intercooler is preferred
for maximum ram airflow and cooling.
