Jim Summers climbed behind the wheel of the Super Chevy/ProCharger Project Nova at the PRO event in Memphis this past October, and while still shaking down the car, ran an 8.81 ET @ 155 mph. What makes this newsworthy is that Project Nova was running pump gas, weighed in at 3,500 lbs, and is carbureted. With only a lightly modified GMPP crate big block and an Intercooled ProCharger F-3C, this combination is producing 1,400 hp and over 3 hp/c.i.d on 91 octane fuel.
