2003 marks the third season of reliable high performance with ProCharger Marine’s exclusive supercharger systems for the MerCruiser 496 Mag HO and 496 Mag. This proven technology provides up to 625 reliable horsepower on pump gas with engine friendly intercooled boost. Installation is quick and straight forward, as these systems require no accessory relocation and feature ATI’s patented internally lubricated supercharger design.

These systems also feature a compact intercooler specifically designed for the 496 motor, and the design leaves the engine envelope virtually unchanged. 3.5 psi and 5 psi configurations are available, with the 3.5 psi package fully upgradable to the 5 psi system at any time. Both systems are also available with a 3 year extended supercharger warranty.

Powerboat magazine recently tested the 496 Mag HO, 5 psi system. In before-and-after testing in a 28’ Eliminator Eagle V-bottom, the radar gun showed a 14 mph gain from the installation of the ProCharger system, running pump gas.
