The Kostelac/Whitebread team, in a ProCharged 36' Cobra, won the 2002 APBA
Outlaw Performance I Championship for this past year with a dominating season.
After finishing second in the first race, the team won every remaining race
they entered. The boat “Out for Justice” is powered by twin 540
c.i.d. motors with Intercooled M-3 ProChargers, and runs a solid 130 mph.
The motors are tuned to produce 900 hp each with twin carburetors, and have
been extremely reliable.
For the 2003 season, the Kostelac/Whitebread/Fisher team is competing in the
Outlaw Performance 3 Class in a different boat, “Wild Ride.” This
team currently has a large lead in the championship points race, in a 30'
Phantom powered by a single 540 cid motor, force-fed by a self-contained ProCharger
M-4SC.
