John Joseph of Hall Ford recently ran an 11.33 @ 126 mph in a stock ’01 Cobra with exhaust, an Intercooled ProCharger, and only 8 psi of boost. Additionally, a stock 2002 GT with only 8 psi recently ran an 11.97 @ 114 MPH. While this helps illustrate that ProCharger produces the largest street-legal power gains for 1996-2003 4.6’s (and ‘94-03 3.8 V6’s), ATI is also working to advance high-end 4.6 power. In addition to serpentine race kits, a new F-2M cog race kit is now available for mod motors. This kit has already produced over 1,200 hp for customers, and is capable of 1,400 hp. As of August 2003, there are at least 4 ProCharged modulars running in the 8’s with the F-2M cog race kit, including the fastest supercharged modular racer in the country, Aaron Archer.
